Quam Kent is not just a charismatic hair guy and model; he’s a health and aesthetic connoisseur. Throughout his journey, he’s worked in vibrant cities like Philadelphia, Boston, New York, New Jersey,Baton Rouge and California.
Quam’s artistic journey began at the Arts Academy of Benjamin Rush, where he majored in vocals and showcased his talent in productions like “Putnam County Spelling Bee Musical.” Later, at the Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia, he continued to excel in vocal performances and took on roles in productions such as “Beauty and the Beast,” where he served as the Principal Chorus and Hairstylist for Belle.
Moving on to Bay State College, Quam pursued a degree in Entertainment Management, making his mark as a Resident Assistant and actively contributing to events like the Lizzo show at Brighton Music Hall. His leadership extended to being the host of the “Pitch-Slapped” album release event and heading the HMU department for the 2017 Complexion Tour in California.
In the retail sector, Quam shared his skincare and hair expertise at LUSH and Sephora. Holding a Cosmetologist license from the Aveda Institute since February 21, 2018, he has further honed his skills at notable salons such as Anique Nicole Hair Studio, Salvaged Roots, and Fredric Fekkai and pro-styling for GLAMSQUAD.
Quam’s talent isn’t confined to the salon; he has made a mark in the TV and film industry. Credits include being the 2nd Additional Hair Stylist for the series “National Treasure: Edge of History” and serving as the Key Hairstylist for films like “Killer Romance,” “So Fly Christmas,” Bucky F***king Dent and BET+’s “One Night Stay”, where he held the position of Head of the Hair Department. His diverse contributions to the industry showcase Quam Kent’s multifaceted talents and unwavering passion for beauty and aesthetics.
